Summary
This higher kv version of the 1404 doesn't have quite the efficiency of the lower kv model. On the dyno it compares only a little less efficient, but since it's also running at half the voltage it's seeing a big boost to it's efficiency from the reduction in switching losses in the ESC, meaning that overall the relative efficiency is much worse. In practical terms it doesn't make as big a difference since you're likely to run them at near equivalent voltage anyway.
For prop matching it's just like the low kv version, with a nice wide range of efficiency covering just about any micro prop option. Light 2" props being a little on the low load side for getting best efficiency, but better than what can be seen in other smaller motors. Heavy 2" and light 2.5" loads really hitting right in the ideal range for performance on the motor, and light 3" props also matching well. Heavy 3" loadings not really being in a spot to take best advantage of the efficiency of the motor, but still managing to be positioned to take advantage of at least 50% efficiency for most of the throttle range.
