One of the strengths of the current motor market is that the availabilty of manufacturing makes developing new motors readily accessible. BrotherHobby seems to have a large section of this market cornered, and this new offering from ZDrone has build on that strong foundation. This motor has opted for a more conservative approach than some of the recent motors, going for a 2206 stator size and a Kv designed to maximize handling on lighter props. This motor inherets most of its design, (including a 28g on the nose weight) from the open bottom edition of the R4 line from BrotherHobby, but offers a unique bell design and Kv.

Results

Results here are on par with the other motors of this lineage, showing strong performance for the stator size and weight class without breaking the amperage bank on draw.  The relatively high Kv (tested with the margin of error from the stated Kv) keeps the output into the 1300g range even on the lighter props at low 30A draw, and approaching 1500g on the heavy 5" tri-blades staying well below 40A. The combination means it will have a flexible range of props, and fit a wide range of flying styles. This motor clearly demonstrates 2206 is still a relevant stator size even in today's market dominated by larger stators.
